How to Play Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense
Quick start
Choose One Player and Arcade to learn driving, then select an arena, vehicle and opponents. Hold A for gas, steer with stick and fire the machine gun with Z. Cycle weapons with C-left/right and fire with R. In Quest, pause and read Objectives before destroying every enemy; deliver carried items at their required location.
Controls
A accelerates; stick left/right steers. B is hand brake; combine it with steering for tight turns or stick down to reverse. Z fires machine gun, R fires selected weapon, C-left/right cycles weapons, C-down selects targets and C-up shows rear view. L gives first-person view; START pauses. At a delivery point, select the mission item and use R to eject it.
Vigilante 8: 2nd Offense — About this game
Drive a weapon-laden vehicle through arenas where steering, weapon choice and positioning matter together. Quest gives each character eight levels and requires both primary and secondary objectives before the last enemy is destroyed. Collected mission items occupy weapon slots and must be ejected at the delivery location. Arcade lets you choose opponents, while Survival sends endless waves and awards repairs for destroyed cars. Salvage improves vehicle attributes. Two-player Quest adds a teammate, with both players required to survive; other multiplayer modes offer direct or team battles.
