How to Play Virtual Pool 64
Quick start
Choose a player or Guest, select 8-Ball and accept the default APA rules with A. At Start Match, set Mode of Play to practice and confirm with A. Aim with stick left/right; hold A, pull back and push forward to strike. Begin with a slow forward movement for a gentle shot.
Controls
Stick left/right aims; up/down tilts the view. Hold A and move the stick back/forward to shoot; faster motion means more force. B enters aim mode; hold B for fine aiming. Hold C-down with stick up/down to zoom, C-right with stick to set cue-tip position, or C-left with stick to move a ball when permitted. START pauses. These are the default controls.
Virtual Pool 64 — About this game
Select a player and one of nine pool games, then line up each shot around a three-dimensional table. Holding A turns the stick into a cue: draw it back and push forward, with faster movement producing a harder shot. Fine aiming, cue-tip placement and adjustable views help you plan position as well as pocket balls. Play individual matches against a person or the computer, enter a knockout tournament, or use Freestyle to arrange balls and invent rules. Shark Skins challenges you to clear racks of three, six and nine balls in as few shots as possible.
