How to Play Waialae Country Club: True Golf Classics
Quick start
Choose Quick Start, adjust the participants if needed, then select Game Start. Set the tee position, aim and club with direction controls and A. For the full timing system, turn Easy Shot off in Options. Begin with a controlled shot instead of maximum power and watch where it lands.
Controls
Direction controls adjust selections, aim, club, stance and strike point in their respective steps; A confirms and B cancels. Regular swing: A starts the meter, A again selects power/backswing, a third A strikes near the impact zone for accuracy. Easy Shot uses power only. Z opens Options; START opens the quit menu.

Waialae Country Club: True Golf Classics makes preparation and swing timing work together. Choose the club, aim and stance, then adjust the strike point to influence spin. The regular swing meter asks you to set power and time impact, while Easy Shot offers a simpler power-only alternative. Stroke Play counts total shots across eighteen holes; Match Play rewards holes won, and Skins carries a tied hole’s prize into the next. The four-round Waialae Open adds a cut after the second round. Training and the course guide help you learn the layout before competing, and several modes allow up to four players.
