How to Play Wave Race 64
Quick start
From the main menu choose Championship and the available NORMAL difficulty. Pick a rider, keep the watercraft settings on Normal and learn the opening course before customising. Pass to the right of red buoys and left of yellow ones. Focus on clean passes to build engine power.
Controls
Control Stick steers and shifts the rider's weight. Hold A or Z for throttle. B dampens the effect of waves; R makes the craft slide across the surface. C buttons change the camera angle. START pauses, with options to resume or restart the run.
Wave Race 64 — About this game
Wave Race 64 makes the water part of every racing decision. Waves change how your craft lands and turns, while red and yellow buoys mark the route you must follow. Correct passes build engine power; missing a buoy resets it, and too many misses end the run. Choose a rider whose handling suits you, then tackle a championship, chase a time-trial record or practise tricks in Stunt Mode. Keeping a clean route matters as much as holding the throttle.
