How to Play Xena: Warrior Princess: The Talisman of Fate
Quick start
Begin with Practice. Choose menus with stick, confirm with A and return with B. Move with stick, try the four C-button attacks and combine R for jumping or Z for crouching with an attack. START in Practice opens opponent behavior and strength settings. Try Quest once you know the basics.
Controls
Stick moves. C-left left/weak punch, C-up right/strong punch, C-down left/weak kick, C-right right/strong kick. R jumps, Z crouches and B targets an opponent. Combine R or Z with attacks for jumping or crouching strikes. Toward opponent+C-left+C-down throws. Menus: A confirms, B cancels.

Xena and Despair both claim the Talisman, so the Fates demand a contest to decide the world's destiny. Quest sends you through successive opponents to Despair and supports two-player cooperation. VS allows up to four human or computer fighters with flexible teams. Roster adds a lineup, replacing each defeated fighter with the next selection. Practice removes the time limit and restores health so you can learn punches, kicks, jumping and crouching attacks without ending the session.
