How to Play Nacho Libre
Quick start
Choose Story Mode and touch the first available map destination. Read the activity’s instructions, then enter a wrestling arena when available. In the pause menu, check HELP; try a strike and grapple, watch health and attempt a pin after weakening the opponent.
Controls
Use +Control Pad to move, A to strike, B to kick or stomp and X to grapple. Y pins, struggles free or combines with direction for special moves. L+R tags the partner in tag matches. Touch the story map to travel; minigames use their own stylus or button prompts.

Follow Ignacio’s unlikely journey from monk to masked wrestler through bouts, film-inspired scenes and minigames. Story Mode’s touch map separates countryside activities from the wrestling arenas in town, and progressing unlocks more wrestlers for other modes. In the ring, mix strikes with grapples and throws, then pin a weakened opponent; tag bouts add a partner to manage. Begin with Story Mode, choose the first destination on the map and open HELP from the pause menu before relying on the wrestling controls.
