Quick start
Select WARMING UP in the title using the cross button and start. Press up or down to move the machine forward, press A to advance the course, press B to reverse the course, and press START to begin driving. Manually-shifted cars are not in gear when you start, so press DOWN to shift into gear as specified in the manual, then press A to accelerate. First, let's check the left and right steering wheel operation and deceleration of B at low speed. Practice ends after 5 laps, and if you want to see the results midway through, select SELECT. Once you advance to the Grand Prix, aim to be in the top 4 in the qualifying round, and you can display your password by pressing B on the final ranking screen, so be sure to record it.

Nakajima Satoru F-1 Hero 2 — About this game
The second racing game supervised by Satoru Nakajima. You can try out the course and machines in the warm-up, and in the battle you can choose to compete against humans, against a computer, or as a spectator game between computers. In the Grand Prix, players compete in multiple rounds for each level, progressing from qualifying to the finals to surpass their rivals in overall points. What is required is not just a one-time win, but a consistent run that accumulates points. In addition to the accelerator and brakes, manual gear shifting and step-by-step steering operations are important for operation. The more tires you drive, the more they wear and the less grip they have, so replacing them in the pits will also be a factor in your decision. Rather than entering a long Grand Prix from the beginning, it's easier to get a feel for each car's strengths by checking out their acceleration and cornering in practice mode, where you can choose from four cars.
