How to Play Namco Classic

Quick start

Select round play with SELECT, confirm with START, and try playing the 18 holes by yourself. Before hitting, select the club using up and down, and select the direction using left and right. If necessary, adjust the hitting point with left and right, and press A again to go to the swing screen. From there, you start swinging with the first shot, the distance with the second shot, and the height of the ball with the third shot. At first, practice carrying the ball to a safe place without making a big turn, and listen to your caddy's advice at B.

Namco Classic — About this game

Namco Classic is a Famicom golf game where you play the course by considering not only the distance, but also the wind, slope, height and rotation of the ball. After deciding on the club and direction, adjust the trajectory based on the point of impact and the timing of the swing. In addition to hitting the ball as hard as you can with a big club, you can also try to reduce mistakes by swinging a club with a little more leeway, which will lead to better scores. Round play is suitable for practicing 18 holes or competing against multiple players, while tournaments involve competing for prize money earned through 30 matches. At the end, a match play between the top two prize winners awaits. Check your caddy's advice and the characteristics of your club, and practice hitting bunkers and greens that you don't like. Long tours can be continued using a password, so you can gradually increase your favorite playing styles.
