How to Play Nancy Drew: Message in a Haunted Mansion
Quick start
Choose Start New Game. Chapter One begins in Nancy’s Chinese Room: inspect the dragon and tapestry, leave the room and speak with Abby, Charlie, Rose and Louis until their dialogue is exhausted. Rose then assigns the wooden inlay puzzle; complete it, return to Rose and speak to Abby to attend the séance. Record the password awarded when the chapter ends because the game resumes by chapter passwords.
Controls
L moves Nancy left when that direction is available; R moves her right. D-pad moves the on-screen selection arrow. A examines when the cursor becomes a magnifying glass, chooses an inventory item and opens book text. B turns Nancy around or backs up one step. SELECT opens the in-game menu with PDA, phone, options and quit choices; menu cursors use D-pad and A.
