How to Play Need for Speed: Nitro
Quick start
Complete the opening tutorial and select the first Career event. Read its win condition, practise steering and drifting and save boost for a clear section. When a Heroic Driving meter appears, time its prompt; finish and check newly unlocked races or cars.
Controls
Steer with +Control Pad and use the displayed acceleration, brake and drift controls. R activates nitro when available. For a Heroic Driving prompt, press X when the moving indicator reaches the marked area. Read the event goal before focusing only on first place.

Career begins with Bronze challenges and opens later cups, cars and tracks, while Race Now lets you revisit available options. Nitro boost helps on a clear stretch, and Heroic Driving moments ask you to time an on-screen action instead of steering through an ordinary pass. Begin with the opening tutorial and first Career event, learn the drift and boost controls and check whether the next challenge rewards position, time or targets.
