How to Play Need for Speed Underground 2
Quick start
Choose Race Now to learn the car, then enter Go Underground and select an available event. Read whether victory depends on position or zones. Watch the lower map, brake before tight turns and check unlocked upgrades after finishing.
Controls
Steer with the +Control Pad and use the displayed acceleration and brake buttons. Menus accept touch input or button selection. In engine tuning, slide the touch lever up or down to keep the indicator between the damaging red and blue bands.

Build a tuned street car through Go Underground events, or choose Race Now for a shorter contest. Circuit and drag races test different skills, while Lap KO eliminates the last racer and Own the Zone rewards the fastest driver in each course section. Victories open more events and equipment to change performance and appearance. The lower DS screen shows the course map during racing and provides menus between events; an engine-tuning minigame asks you to move a lever so its rev indicator stays in the safe band.
