Adventures of Lolo (Japan) — About this game
King Egger has taken Lala to his castle, leaving Lolo to clear rooms where every heart and block has a tactical purpose. Collecting all Heart Framers opens the chest; taking its jewel opens the way onward. Certain hearts supply magic shots that turn enemies into temporary eggs. Keep an egg when it is needed as a raft, or fire again to remove it briefly. Green blocks provide movable cover, but cannot be pulled out of a bad position. Grass stops wandering enemies without protecting against every attack, while trees and rocks have different blocking properties. Arrows restrict movement to one direction, so a safe entrance may offer no return route. Some rooms grant a bridge, arrow-changing power or hammer only after enough hearts have been collected. Watch the PW indicator before attempting that part of the solution. Passwords restore progress, and CSTM opens a separate button configuration screen. This Japanese release is titled Adventures of Lolo. Its room selection differs substantially from the western Adventures of Lolo 2; matching castle graphics do not make the puzzles interchangeable.
