Adventures of Lolo II (Japan) — About this game
Lolo and Lala travel through a world whose inhabitants have been turned to stone. The familiar room puzzles now sit within a map: clear areas to earn the keys and Rainbow Eggs needed to open later routes, and choose among available destinations instead of always climbing one uninterrupted tower. Grandpa’s Learning Tree introduces the essential tricks. Inside a room, collect all the hearts, take the chest’s jewel and reach the exit. Push blocks carefully, preserve limited magic shots and use temporary enemy eggs to cross water. Blocks can be positioned halfway between squares, allowing a protective arrangement that still leaves room to walk. Crumbling bridges disappear after their second crossing, so a return trip must be planned in advance. Underwater rooms introduce Moby, whose suction makes a clear line especially dangerous. Mistakes no longer exhaust a stock of lives: retry the room, change the plan and keep exploring. This Japanese edition is titled Adventures of Lolo II and has a substantially different set of room puzzles from western Adventures of Lolo 3.
