How to Play Bomberman
Quick start
Use SELECT on the title screen to choose START, then press START. Move with the D-pad and place a bomb beside a brick with A. Step into a safe side passage before it explodes. Clear the enemies and reveal the hidden exit; walk onto it when the room is clear. Choose CONTINUE for a recorded secret code.
Controls
D-pad: move in four directions. A: place a bomb. B: detonate bombs after obtaining Remote Control. SELECT: switch START/CONTINUE on the title screen. START: confirm, begin and pause/resume. Secret-code screen: D-pad chooses a letter, A enters it and advances to the next position.
Bomberman — About this game
This single-player campaign turns each room into a question of timing and safe routes. Place a bomb beside a breakable brick, move behind solid concrete and wait for the explosion to open a passage. Bricks conceal the exit and useful power-up panels, but finding the door is only half the task: all enemies must be defeated before you can leave. Improvements increase the number of bombs you can place or their reach; Remote Control lets you choose the moment of detonation with B. More firepower also makes careless positioning dangerous, particularly in narrow corridors. Across fifty stages, learn how the different monsters move and keep a path away from your next bomb. A twenty-letter secret code shown at game over can be entered through CONTINUE to restore progress.
