Press START, read the S.H.U.S.H. message with A or skip with START. Choose a HELP marker left/right, confirm with A and accept the mission. Practise catching a safe ledge before attempting a gap.

Pad left/right: move; down: crouch or release a hanging grip; up: cape guard against some shots. A: jump, catching suitable hooks/edges on contact. B: gas gun. SELECT: switch normal/special gas. START: pause/status.

This entry is the NES game included in The Disney Afternoon Collection / Switch. Its campaign and original button actions remain the focus here; the collection’s challenges, gallery and rewind or save tools belong to the host collection.
The first assignments can be tackled in a chosen order, followed by another set of missions and the final confrontation. A crime scene is more than a corridor of targets: hooks and platform edges allow Darkwing to hang below the route, reposition or reach bonuses. Jumping toward a suitable grip catches it automatically, while letting go requires attention to the landing below.
The gas gun’s basic shot is backed by special pickups with limited energy. Arrow gas can create footholds on walls; other shots cover different angles or the ground. Only one special type is carried alongside the normal shot, so a new pickup can mean giving up the old option. Holding the cape forward deflects certain projectiles, but it is not protection against every hazard. Use observation, hanging and careful ammunition choices to reach each villain.
