How to Play Dr. Chaos
Quick start
Press START, choose New Game and confirm with A or B. In a corridor, stand at a door and press up. Inside, aim the hand with the D-Pad; hold B and press up/down to choose OPEN or GET, release B and press A on the target. Search for the Ultraspace Sensor, medicines and ammunition before pushing further. For a password in a corridor or Warp Zone, press START then A or B and copy it. Dr. Chaos — About this game
An experiment has left Doctor Ginn Chaos missing and monsters loose in his house. His brother Michael must investigate a mansion with three floors and a basement, switching between side-view corridors and first-person rooms. Doors, cabinets, windows and suspicious walls need different commands: OPEN reveals contents, GET collects supplies, GO enters a passage and HIT can uncover hidden routes. Keep track of room directions so that a familiar-looking doorway does not lead you back around the same circuit.
Beyond the rooms lie eleven Warp Zones with platforming and boss fights. Ten scattered components rebuild the laser needed against the final monster. The starting knife conserves ammunition, while pistol, machine gun and grenades offer other attacks. Search for the Ultraspace Sensor early; Jump Boots and the Air Helmet later help with high ledges and water in Warp Zones. The original US NES cartridge uses passwords for later sessions. Record one before losing your supplies, since a game-over continuation does not preserve every collected item.
