Dragon Warrior IV — About this game
A soldier investigating missing children, a princess seeking adventure, an ambitious merchant and two sisters pursuing their father’s killer each introduce a different side of the world. Their chapters run in order and eventually lead to the hero’s journey, giving familiar towns and rumors new meaning when the paths meet. Combat also changes: the first four chapters let you issue commands to the available party, while chapter five places companions under AI guided by a shared tactic and leaves the hero’s actions to you. Choosing the active four and managing wagon reserves becomes part of preparation. Individual equipment, limited MP and supplies still matter on long routes. Exploring homes for clues, revisiting towns at different hours and building funds supports the larger adventure. Save at a House of Healing; three Adventure Logs are available.
