How to Play Mighty Final Fight

Quick start

Press START at the title, highlight a hero with up/down and confirm. Try Cody first for balanced movement. Walk toward an enemy, press B for a punch sequence, then try A followed by B in the air. Move into a nearby enemy to grab them; direction plus B throws. Watch both the health bar and EXP before spending health on A+B. The US booklet permits any button to confirm the hero.

Controls

D-pad moves in eight directions. A jumps; B attacks and picks up an item or weapon when standing over it. Press toward an enemy to grab, then B for a close attack or left/right+B to throw. A+B performs a health-costing escape attack. START starts and pauses; SELECT is unused.

Mighty Final Fight — About this game

Metro City’s rescue mission becomes a compact, comic adventure with small fighters and an experience system. Cody offers a balanced starting point, Guy moves quickly, and Haggar trades speed for powerful wrestling attacks. Movement has depth: step above or below an approaching enemy to set up a punch, jump attack or close grab. Throwing one opponent into another can break up a dangerous group, while the A+B escape attack spends health and should be saved for pressure. Defeating enemies earns experience, with the finishing technique affecting the reward. Levels improve fighting strength and health capacity; Cody and Haggar gain additional attacks from level four. Break barrels for supplies and a chance at character-specific weapons, rather than expecting equipment from every level-up. Five stages lead toward the Mad Gear gang and Jessica. The three selectable heroes belong to separate solo runs, so choosing a second character is not a cooperative mode.
