How to Play Monster in My Pocket
Quick start
At the title, press SELECT to open Player Select. Use the D-pad for 1 or 2 players and START to confirm. Choose a monster with SELECT, then press START twice. In Jack’s bedroom, move right, attack with B and practice pressing A again near the top of a jump. Use the stereo and upper platforms to avoid getting surrounded; down+B picks up a key and B throws it.
Controls
Left/right walks, down crouches. A jumps; press A again near the apex for a double jump. Down+A drops through a supported platform. B attacks or throws a carried object; down+B picks up a key or bolt. A+B combines jumping with attacking/throwing. SELECT chooses the character before play; START begins and pauses/resumes. In co-op, an eliminated player can press A to borrow a spare life from the partner.
Monster in My Pocket — About this game
The Vampire and The Monster must fight their way through a human-sized world to stop Warlock. Everyday objects provide the sense of scale: a bedroom stereo becomes a platform, stove burners become hazards and a loose key can be lifted and hurled like a heavy weapon. Both heroes combine a short energy-swipe attack with a double jump, which helps cross gaps and reach enemies above them. The six main stages move through a house, kitchen, sewer, construction site and oriental garden before the final battles at Monster Mountain. Bosses test the timing of jumps and attacks, and the late rematches reward remembering earlier patterns. Two people can play together on screen. Heart jars restore health, while continued play after losing all lives restarts the current stage with a limited number of continues.
