How to Play RollerGames
Quick start
Press START at the title, watch the opening and use the D-pad at Team Select to choose Thunderbirds, Hot Flash or Rockers. Press START again. In Downtown, practice changing direction before the first open holes; jump with A and punch with B. When a fight blocks progress, clear the enemies and consider A+B for a limited special.
Controls
D-pad moves the skater; normal routes allow eight directions. A jumps and B punches/attacks. In fight scenes, press A+B simultaneously for the character’s special, up to three times per area. In auto-scroll areas, left+B performs an elbow strike. START starts, confirms the selected team and pauses/resumes; SELECT has no mission function. At GAME OVER, choose CONTINUE with the D-pad and confirm with START, then select a team to restart the area.
RollerGames — About this game
Pick a star from the Thunderbirds, Hot Flash or Rockers and set out to rescue the kidnapped commissioner from V.I.P.E.R. The NES game combines brawling with obstacle courses rather than recreating a match in the television arena. Four of its six stages allow normal scrolling and eight-direction movement, interrupted by fights that must be won before advancing. Stages two and four force the route forward at highway speed. Skating momentum makes a late turn or jump risky, especially near holes, water and slopes. Each character has a different special attack, limited to three uses per area in fight scenes. Health and that special reserve recover at area or stage boundaries, encouraging you to survive the current stretch rather than hoard everything for the entire game.
