How to Play TwinBee

Quick start

At the title, press SELECT to choose 1 PLAYER or 2 PLAYERS, then START. In the opening area, use B to shoot airborne enemies and clouds. Keep an emerging bell in play until the color you want appears, but leave room to dodge. Put ground targets under the aiming cursor and press A to bomb them.

Controls

The directional pad moves in eight directions. B fires forward and changes bell colors; A attacks ground targets through the aiming cursor. SELECT chooses the player count at the title, and START begins or pauses/resumes. Contact the ambulance to repair lost arms; only one repair is available per ship.

TwinBee — About this game

The fight to free Donburi Island has two layers. TwinBee’s forward gun handles flying enemies, while its ground bombs reach the installations beneath the scrolling landscape. Clouds can hide bells, and repeated shots change their color: taking one immediately earns points, but waiting for another color can improve speed, firepower or protection. That small diversion becomes dangerous when enemy waves arrive at the same time. Arm damage takes away bombing, with an ambulance offering one repair opportunity per ship. In solo play, a flashing bell adds image copies and a ground candy can widen the shot. A second player joins simultaneously as WinBee, opening combined attacks. The five-stage route repeats with a tougher challenge after the last boss, keeping the emphasis on survival and score.
