How to Play Nicktoons Unite!
Quick start
Start a new game and follow the opening route in Danny's world. Before tackling a difficult platform, adjust the view with L or R. Practise dragging another hero's portrait into the center of the touch screen, then switch back when the next obstacle calls for that character's skill. Keep attacks and jumps measured. When a special-move pickup appears, collect it before tracing the required pattern.
Controls
DS: D-pad moves and L/R adjusts the camera. Drag a hero's corner portrait to the center of the touch screen to change the controlled character. Use the jump and normal-attack controls introduced by the game for platforms and enemies. After collecting a special-move power-up, trace the corresponding pattern with the stylus to activate it.
Nicktoons Unite! — About this game
Nicktoons Unite! on DS brings SpongeBob, Danny Phantom, Timmy Turner and Jimmy Neutron together against the Evil Syndicate's machine. You control one hero at a time, changing characters by dragging a portrait from a corner of the lower screen into the center. Their abilities offer different routes through the 3D stages: bubbles lift SpongeBob, Danny passes through certain solid barriers, and Jimmy uses a jetpack and shrink ray. Timmy can hide from enemies and slow them with help from his fairy godparents. Special moves require their power pickups and a matching stylus pattern. Watching the camera and choosing the right hero matter as much as defeating enemies.
