Squashed — About this game
This Japanese Famicom adventure takes the ninja series into space and changes the way you fight. Jump above enemies to strike them on the way down, search blocks for useful equipment, and learn when to charge a longer leap. Jajamaru builds charge faster, while Sakura has the higher ordinary jump. The difference matters on narrow platforms and vertical sections where a poorly timed movement can lose ground. Weapons and a protective space suit help, but the unusual movement remains the main challenge. This entry describes the Japanese game, not the altered unreleased American Squashed prototype.
