Quick start
Select a fighter and available solo battle. Learn movement and attack range, inspect the card display and try one card when you have room to act.
Controls
Use the displayed DS movement, attack and defensive commands for your fighter. Select Spirit Cards through the touch interface and read their effects before activation; follow menu prompts to choose battles.
One Piece: Gear Spirit — About this game
Gear Spirit combines an action arena with a touch-screen card layer. Choose a fighter, move around the stage and attack opponents while watching for an opening to use a Spirit Card. The card choice adds effects and tactical decisions to the fight rather than replacing movement and attacks with turn-based card play. Begin with one character and learn its reach before experimenting with the available cards. Read an effect before using it, then watch how it changes the next exchange. The developer describes battles for up to four simultaneous players on original DS hardware. Keep this game's Spirit Cards separate from Gigant Battle's support-character crew system.
