Honto no Ace ni Nareru kamo is a baseball-club life simulation centered on Ren Mihashi at Nishiura. From spring toward summer, story choices build trust with teammates while practice mini-games improve the team's readiness. Practice matches put that preparation into a game situation before the first qualifying contest. The story draws on volumes three and four and adds original events, including ordinary school life and occasional study. Begin with the introductions and one practice task, then check how the team is developing before a practice match. Familiar visual-training exercises appear as mini-games. This structure makes relationships and preparation as important as the match, so it is not simply a menu for playing a full baseball season.
