How to Play Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan

Quick start

Choose an easier setting and a person on the map. Follow the opening lesson, practise circle timing and complete the song while keeping the spirit gauge above zero.

Controls

Use the stylus: tap numbered targets as rings overlap, keep contact and follow slider paths, and rotate for spinning cues. Follow marker order and keep the stylus down for sustained actions.

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan — About this game

Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan sends an energetic cheering squad to people struggling with study, work or personal crises. Each song plays over a comic story whose outcome changes with your performance. Tap a numbered marker when its shrinking circle overlaps, hold and follow a slider or spin the stylus for the large circular cue. Accuracy restores the spirit gauge, while time and misses drain it; keep it alive until the song ends. Start with the easier cheer setting and learn one timing pattern before moving to the next person on the map. The original Japanese game has its own stories and songs, distinct from Elite Beat Agents and the second Ouendan. Watch the approaching ring and listen to the beat together rather than following animation alone.
