Izumi Kido investigates cases with advice from the novelist Masamune Kyogetsu. This DS edition combines three adapted mobile scenarios with three newly written cases, using real locations and backgrounds. Read the opening situation, follow conversations and compare the information before selecting a response. Your choices change the story and its ending, so an answer is part of the investigation rather than a disposable dialogue line. One special scenario uses both screens to control Izumi and another character at the same time. Begin with a case and establish who knows what before committing to a conclusion. The basic operations can be performed with the stylus, keeping attention on evidence, character perspectives and branching decisions.
