How to Play Outlanders
Quick start
Press START on the title to return from the story to the title, make sure the cursor is on START, and start again with START. In the detention center, press A to open the command, and press ``Talk'' to listen to Nao's advice. Use the cross button to move through the hallway, and when speaking to someone, face them. When it comes to battle, turn around so you don't get pinched by the enemy and attack with the cross and B. Collect items from the place where you defeated an enemy by using ``Take'', and check bread and physical strength using ``Strength''. Don't run out of food, and be careful not to use passwords that say "end" at the end of each day.
Controls
Cross button: Move Tetsuya up/down/left/right and select commands. A: Displays the command window and determines the selected item. B: Use swords etc. during battle, cancel while displaying commands. Use "pick" to pick up items at your feet, and use "buki" to change equipment. Interruption is performed using the command "End". For the title, select START/CONTINUE with SELECT and confirm with START. For the password, select a character with the crosshairs, enter it with A, modify it with "Back", and finally select "End".
Outlanders — About this game
Tetsuya Wakatsuki and Princess Calm meet during the conflict between Earth and the Space Empire. The two set off to seek permission to marry, but are separated, and Tetsuya ends up searching for Calm from the detention center. When you walk through the hallway and enter a moving enemy symbol, you will be switched to the battle screen, and attack the enemy using the cross button and B. A unique feature of the game is that it not only allows you to gain experience through battles, but also allows you to do good things for the people of the town, which is related to your growth. As you walk, your bread will automatically decrease, and if you run out of food, you will also lose your stamina, so it is essential to prepare for shopping and recovery. Look for friends along the way and use magic and equipment to advance. It is easier to explore if you write passages, stairs, shops, and enemies on the map and organize information about the places you have visited.
