How to Play Over the Hedge
Quick start
Move RJ into an empty save-slot log, then begin in the Forest Hub and enter the first available chapter. Forest paths teach walking, running and pushing; later sidewalk, backyard and house sections change B to hiding, attacking or interacting. Collect candy for the Shop, fruit and vegetables for health, and all required junk food when the mission calls for it.
Controls
D-pad moves. Hold A to run in forest, sidewalk and backyard areas, or to walk while sneaking inside houses. B pushes/pulls in the forest, hides on sidewalks, attacks in backyards and interacts in houses. L/R uses a purchased secondary attack when available. START pauses and SELECT returns to the main menu. Character specials use B: Hammy scares, Stella sprays and Ozzie hides.
