How to Play Pac-Land
Quick start
Start with START. On Controller I, A moves to the right, B moves to the left, and the cross button jumps. First, hit A continuously to accelerate, then use the cross button to get the feeling of jumping. When you want to stop, tap the movement button in the opposite direction. The faster you jump, the farther you jump, so don't use too much momentum when heading for a small platform. Even in the air, you can adjust the horizontal direction with A and B. After sending the fairy away, you'll have to continue on your way home, so don't let your guard down until you get back home.
Controls
Controller I: A moves to the right, B moves to the left. If you press the button in the same direction repeatedly, it will accelerate, and if you press the button in the opposite direction, it will suddenly stop. Cross button: Jump. The flight distance and height change depending on the speed you run, and you can adjust the trajectory with A and B in the air. START: Start, pause and resume. SELECT: Not used.
Pac-Land — About this game
A side-scrolling action game in which Pac-Man runs through cities, forests, and mountains to return a lost fairy to fairy land. The journey doesn't end even when you arrive at your destination; you then fly back home, completing one trip. The main feature is the movement and jump controls; tap A to run quickly to the right, tap B to quickly run to the left, and use the cross button to jump. The faster you run, the farther you can jump, but even in the air, you can change your trajectory with the movement button, so it's important to read your momentum and where you'll land. Use clouds and logs as footholds to avoid attacks from monsters riding on vehicles. If you take power bait, you can fight back against the monster that has turned blue, and you can also aim for points with fruits and jumps at relay points.
