How to Play Pac 'n Roll
Quick start
Enter the tutorial world and practise a short roll followed by a stop. Collect the nearby dots, open the first gate and keep movement controlled near slopes.
Controls
Rub or swipe over the lower-screen Pac-Man to roll him on the upper screen; longer, quicker sweeps move him farther and faster. Hold the stylus on him to stop and keep him still, including on a slope.
Pac 'n Roll — About this game
Pac-Man becomes a ball whose movement is controlled like a trackball on the DS touch screen. Roll through three-dimensional courses, gathering dots to open gates and using Power Pellets to turn the chase against ghosts. Slopes and water currents keep movement important even after a swipe ends. Begin in the tutorial world and practise stopping on a safe patch before approaching an edge. Special outfits later change how the ball behaves, so inspect the obstacle before choosing speed or weight. Once a route is familiar, time trials and alternative challenges give it a different goal.
