How to Play Palamedes
Quick start
Choose 1 PLAYER with Up/Down and confirm with START, then begin at LEVEL 1 to learn the rhythm. Move beneath a target, press B until your held die matches it, and fire with A. Build a run or repeated numbers in the bottom window, then press Down to use the hand before the descending board reaches you.
Controls
Left/Right: move the shooter. A: fire your die. B: change its number. Down: use the hand in the bottom window to clear rows. START: pause/resume during play and confirm menu choices. Up/Down: select menu items.
Palamedes — About this game
Palamedes makes you plan while the board keeps descending. Match your held die to a target above, fire, and keep an eye on the six results stored along the bottom. Repeated numbers, runs and other hands let you remove rows instead of picking off individual dice. Solo play offers five difficulty settings across twenty stages. In two-player matches, row-clearing hands put pressure on the other side, while Tournament mode supplies computer rivals. The key choice is when to cash in a useful hand and when to risk another shot for a stronger one.
