How to Play Paperboy
Quick start
On the option screen, use SELECT to choose one player, then press START. Memorize the blue subscriber houses on the opening map. Steer with Left/Right, use Up to gain speed and Down to slow down, and throw with A when aligned with a doorway or mailbox. Ride over paper bundles to restock before the next deliveries.
Controls
Up: accelerate. Down: slow down. Left/Right: steer. A: throw a newspaper. START: begin, pause and resume. SELECT: choose one or two players on the option screen.
Paperboy — About this game
Paperboy turns a weekly delivery job into an obstacle course. Remember the subscriber houses, land papers at their doors or mailboxes, and avoid smashing the windows of customers you want to keep. Missed deliveries can shrink your route, while a clean day brings new business. Your limited paper supply makes roadside bundles important, especially when tempted by extra scoring targets. After each route, a training course offers another chance to score. Survive through Sunday by balancing accurate throws with safe riding.
