How to Play Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III
Quick start
Press START at the title screen to begin in Music World. Practise moving with left/right and jumping with A. Use B to stun a nearby enemy; hold B to catch it, then release B to throw it towards a wall or another foe. Raise the parasol with up+B to catch falling droplets or attack from below. Try to clear the nearby enemies first, then learn where droplets enter the stage before committing to longer jumps.
Controls
Left/right: move on the ground or in the air. A: jump. B: extend the parasol in front; hold it to carry a caught enemy or droplet, and release it to throw. Up+B: raise the parasol overhead. Jump with A while it is raised to hit a monster from underneath. START: pause or resume during play; it also begins a new game at the title.
Parasol Stars: The Story of Bubble Bobble III — About this game
Parasol Stars turns a simple umbrella into an adaptable weapon. Tap nearby enemies to stun them, scoop them up and send them into other monsters, or collect droplets to attack from a safer distance. Stronger creatures need more than a direct parasol hit, so the position of smaller enemies matters as much as your jumping. Pool four matching droplets for an elemental attack, from fire along a platform to a rushing wave of water. The NES adventure begins among hostile musical instruments and moves through differently themed worlds with a boss at the end of each. Hidden bonuses reward careful throws and exploration, but lingering among the platforms is risky: the aim is to remove the monsters rather than simply reach an exit.
