How to Play Paris-Dakar Rally Special
Quick start
Select the new "START" for the title, select a letter and press A to enter the name, and confirm with END or A after entering 4 letters. In town, listen to information about sponsors and funding at each facility, buy a car, and find friends at the Car Mania Club. For the reflex test, press the same buttons as A and B on the screen. When you are ready, go to participate in the rally association. Accelerate at the top of the first road, decelerate at the bottom, and be careful of cars coming from behind. It's easier to avoid them if you slow down before the road gets narrow.
Controls
Road section: Accelerate by pressing the cross button, decelerate by pressing down, and adjust the path of the car by pressing left and right. While moving around town, press A to open and close Mochimono, and press A to confirm name entry. For the reflex test, press A or B when displayed. Area 2 in the city area has oil installed at A. After area 3, shoot with A of the car, and jump with A while getting off the car. It can also move up and down underwater. In area 6 of the battlefield, A is the ground shot and B is the anti-air shot. On the section recording screen, press START to proceed. Posing during the race is not allowed.

Part of the journey for the Paris-Dakar Rally Special is the preparation before stepping onto the starting line. They listen to stories at town facilities and gather sponsors, funds, cars, and navigators to participate. When the race begins, you will be faced with different challenges one after another, such as roads where you have to avoid following cars and drums, a maze of city streets, and side-scrolling sections where you need to get out of the car to open a path. There are scenes where you travel underwater and battles with tanks and aircraft, so it's not just about running the fastest. Pay attention to your fuel and time remaining, and slow down on narrow roads to avoid accidents. In between sections, there is a bonus game where you collect items, and aim for the overall victory by accumulating the records of each section. You can also use the car number for restarting.
