The campaign combines control of provinces with military preparation, so a successful invasion depends on the condition of the territory supporting it. Examine the forces and resources at your disposal before ordering an advance, and watch neighbouring clans as carefully as the next battlefield. Expanding too quickly can leave newly acquired land difficult to defend. The appeal lies in building a position over successive turns rather than winning a single isolated fight.
