How to Play Castlevania: Rondo of Blood
Quick start
Start as Richter, practise a standing whip strike and a jump, then collect a subweapon and hearts before entering the first crowded section.
Controls
The directional pad moves and crouches; I jumps and II attacks. Up plus II uses a subweapon. SELECT activates Item Crash when enough hearts are available; RUN pauses.
Castlevania: Rondo of Blood — About this game
Richter Belmont enters Dracula's domain to rescue the captives and confront the vampire. The stages combine whip combat, subweapons and demanding jumps, with hidden passages that can lead to alternate routes and further rescues. Hearts supply subweapon attacks, so finding them matters even when Richter's health is full. Maria becomes playable after being rescued and approaches the same dangers with a different set of abilities. Explore suspicious walls and branching paths, but watch the time and the placement of enemies: a careless jump can be more dangerous than a direct exchange of blows.
