How to Play Black Hole Assault
Quick start
Choose a machine and begin a bout. Practise guarding and a short attack, then test a longer move from a safe distance.
Controls
The directional pad moves, jumps and crouches; hold away from the opponent to guard. I and II attack. Combine directional commands with attacks for special moves.
Black Hole Assault — About this game
Pilot a combat machine in one-on-one mechanical battles across a solar system threatened by conflict. The fighters differ in size, reach and attack behaviour, so a successful bout begins with learning what the chosen machine can reach safely. Move to control the gap, defend against an obvious approach and strike after the opponent leaves an opening. The science-fiction setting gives each arena and combatant a military character. Matches reward deliberate use of a few effective moves, because a powerful attack that misses can leave the machine exposed to an immediate counter.
