Rather than overcoming a sequence of shooting stages, you work through the current scene by examining details, choosing subjects and following new leads. Read what a character says before selecting the next destination, because an apparently minor conversation can explain why another place has become relevant. The changing images and dialogue carry the story's tone. Progress comes from connecting what has been learned with the commands and locations now available to the player.
