The campaign asks you to consider the position of your side, the abilities of its officers and the resources supporting a military move. Read the current objective before spreading units across the map, because an isolated force can become difficult to support. Character encounters give the historical conflict a personal focus, while battles turn broader plans into immediate decisions. A patient opening that strengthens the starting position can create more useful options than an early advance that leaves no reserve behind.
