Ziria travels through a comic, supernatural version of old Japan in a role-playing adventure inspired by the Jiraiya legend. The party crosses an overhead world, visits towns and faces enemies in turn-based battles, while animated scenes and voices give the journey a strong theatrical presence. Magic has to be sought out in the world rather than simply bought or learned at every level, making exploration and conversation important to the group's growth. Listen for leads, prepare supplies and inspect the equipment suited to each companion. The adventure rewards curiosity about its setting as well as strength in battle.
