How to Play Forgotten Worlds
Quick start
Begin the opening stage, practise moving while rotating the direction of fire and collect money before making the first shop purchase.
Controls
The directional pad moves the soldier. II fires unless automatic shooting is enabled. I turns the firing direction clockwise and RUN turns it counterclockwise. SELECT pauses. Choose the pad mode in the options.
Forgotten Worlds — About this game
Two flying soldiers battle through a ruined world with guns and orbiting satellite weapons. Aiming is independent of simple movement, so a safe position is useful only if the weapon can cover the enemies approaching it. Collect money from defeated targets and use shops to strengthen the fighter for later stages. The satellites add another angle of attack, while large enemies and incoming formations force you to keep adjusting the direction of fire. The PC Engine CD controls adapt this rotating-aim system to the pad, making learning the turn commands an essential part of the opening stage.
