How to Play Fatal Fury Special
Quick start
Choose a fighter and controller setup, practise guarding and normal attacks, then test a special move and the arena-plane controls before playing aggressively.
Controls
The directional pad moves, jumps, crouches and guards by holding away from the opponent. Attack buttons and directional motions produce normal and special moves; plane controls depend on the selected pad setup.

The Fatal Fury cast expands into a tournament that brings familiar rivals and former bosses into the same fighting game. Each character's reach, speed and special moves encourage a different way of controlling the distance between opponents. The two-plane arenas make positioning more than a question of moving left or right, while a missed heavy attack gives an alert rival a chance to counter. Practise a short sequence you can perform reliably and learn when the opponent's move leaves an opening. The appeal comes from exploring the roster and improving the decisions that shape each exchange.
