How to Play Golden Axe
Quick start
Choose a hero, practise a basic weapon attack and jump, and collect the first magic potions before spending a spell on a crowded encounter.
Controls
Use the directional pad to move. II attacks and I jumps; use the available combined-button command for magic. RUN starts or pauses play.
Golden Axe — About this game
A warrior, an Amazon and a dwarf fight Death Adder's forces in a fantasy brawler. Each hero combines weapon attacks with magic whose strength depends on the potions collected along the route. Enemy riders can be knocked away from beasts, allowing the player to use those mounts against the next group. Keep opponents on one side when possible and collect potions from the small thieves without letting another enemy close in behind. The adventure mixes direct melee, jumps and limited powerful spells, making the decision to spend magic part of managing a difficult stage rather than an automatic response to every opponent.
