Progress requires reading the shape of the route as well as responding to attackers: a hurried jump can put the character beyond a safe landing or directly into another threat. Use the available attacks to create room before crossing a dangerous gap, and look over the next section before leaving solid ground. The pacing alternates between making steady progress through the scenery and dealing with enemies that obstruct the path. Treat the first encounters as a chance to learn the reach of the weapon and the character's jump, then combine those two actions when the stage becomes more crowded.
