Fray in Magical Adventure CD: Xak Gaiden — About this game
Fray steps out of the supporting cast of Xak for a colourful action adventure of her own. Viewed from above, the journey places her magic against enemies that block routes through a fantasy landscape. Moving and firing work together: standing still to attack may clear one approach while leaving Fray exposed to something arriving from another direction. Pay attention to the shape of the path, collect useful supplies when there is room to reach them and avoid letting an enemy push you towards the edge of a safe area. The lighter presentation still asks for careful positioning, particularly when several attackers share the screen. Learn the basic spell's reach before committing to a narrow route with little space to dodge.
