A warrior who guards the remains of an ancient civilisation meets a fleeing girl and becomes involved in a conflict over its lost magical science. The campaign develops through separate scenarios, with animated intermissions connecting the military objectives to the characters' story. On the strategic map, your forces act before the opposing side, capturing strongholds and expanding their position. Taking an enemy headquarters removes that faction, while losing your own base means defeat in the current chapter. Battles require attention to unit placement, direction and the chosen target rather than simply sending everyone forwards. Keep a route back to important positions, support an advancing force and use the system menu to record progress before making a difficult commitment. This entry is the demo edition; playable content is limited to the material included on the disc.
