How to Play Warsong
Quick start
Start a new campaign, read the opening battle objective and inspect your commanders and troops. Move a unit with support nearby, check its possible target and confirm an attack only after reviewing the position.

Use the direction pad to move the cursor. I confirms or interacts; II cancels.
Warsong — About this game
Led by its young prince, a fantasy army faces an invasion in tactical battles where commanders fight alongside the troops assigned to them. Before a scenario, the composition of those forces determines how well the army can meet the enemy's different units. During battle, terrain and the distance between a commander and his soldiers affect how safely you can advance. Keep the formation together instead of letting a fast troop race into an unsupported fight. Encounters develop across a grid, with movement and attacks selected through menus, allowing you to inspect the situation before confirming a commitment. The PC Engine CD presentation adds voiced drama to the campaign while retaining the commander's responsibility for the survival and placement of the army.
