How to Play MAGICOAL
Quick start
Choose one- or two-player play and follow the escape from the village. Test the available magic on early enemies and keep the two heroes close enough to support each other.
Controls
The direction pad moves your character. Use the action buttons to cast or interact, and select available magic and items through the menus. RUN starts or pauses play.
MAGICOAL — About this game
Rhun and Melvy are students of magic whose quiet village is attacked by goblins. Their escape leads into a journey through forests and other hostile places, where magical abilities become practical tools for survival. MAGICOAL uses direct movement and action combat while retaining money, items and conversations associated with role-playing games. It does not rely on an experience-level progression system, making equipment, available magic and cooperation particularly important. The two heroes can be controlled together by two players, or the adventure can be approached alone. Positioning matters when enemies threaten from different directions, and covering a partner creates opportunities to attack or recover. The story unfolds through encounters that connect the fighting areas.
