Tooki Yobigoe continues the events of the earlier Mamono Hunter Youko adventure, with Yohko, Shoma and Setsuna facing danger aboard a flying vessel. Yohko becomes the central playable character as their new powers and the surrounding supernatural conflict develop. The game remains a command-driven narrative: actions such as examining the surroundings and talking to people lead to object or topic selections. The key to progress is recognizing when a conversation has changed the scene and checking the relevant commands again.
